xforms:select1 + xforms:insert = bug?

Henrik Pettersen
All,

I have run accross a problem with inserting into a repeated list using a select1 control with predictive text.

How to reproduce:
=============
1. Load the attached xforms document test5.xsl into the XForms Sandbox at http://www.orbeon.com/ops/
2. Run it
3. Click on 'Add new item

Observed Behaviour:
===============

+ c
ontroller label disappears.
+ 'Loading' button does not go away.
+ 'add new item' link no longer works.

Expected Behaviour:
===============

Is this a bug? Has anyone else seen this behaviour before?

Thanks, everyone!

Sincerely,
Henrik Pettersen

Hi Henrik,

With the latest build, I don't see anymore the drop down next to the
text field when adding an item. A bug related to the auto-complete
used in an <xforms:repeat> was fixed a few days ago. You might want to
try this again with the latest nightly build.

Alex,

Thank you! I shall try the latest build and post the results back
here. Much obliged :-)

By the way, how often is your xforms sandbox on your website (examples
page) updated?

Henrik

PS!

Looking at the email I sent yesterday, the drop down next to the text
field was actually a copy-paste error from the webpage to gmail:

> With the latest build, I don't see anymore the drop down next to the

However, adding an item would completely break the page, and you
mentioned no other problems, so I think this might have been fixed
like you described.

Just whenever we feel like it. There is really no rule. We just try to
avoid updating the suntil we are reasonably sure the code is stable.
