I've read through the Orbeon User Guide Tutorial and
looked at the example XForms. I have a question about building dynamic XForms. By "dynamic" I mean something like this: at some point in the form there is a choice between three options: A, B, and C. If the user chooses A, fields 1 and 2 appear in the form. If the user chooses B, fields 3 and 4 appear in the form. If C, fields 5 and 6 appear. My question is: does XForms natively provide for such dynamic choice functionality, or does it have to be handled through multiple pages in the Orbeon page flow? Thanks, Don ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Don,
There is no problem doing that kind of things with XForms. You can use xforms:switch or relevance to achieve this. In general, this is easier to develop and more user-friendly than using multiple, separate pages. -Erik On Mar 28, 2008, at 1:12 PM, Don Smith wrote: > I've read through the Orbeon User Guide Tutorial and > looked at the example XForms.
