Where are Log Files?

Jim Logan-3
I turned on logging as the user's guide describes, but I don't know
where to look for the actual log file. Where does it go?

Thanks,
-Jim

Hello Jim,

on my Tomcat setup the logs of orbeon and ops are kept next to the Tomcat folder.

Jim,

I have seen it end up in strange places, I'm
sure due to my configuration and where i restarted
tomcat.

But check your config/log4j.xml for the filename,
or it may be that it is configured to ConsoleAppender,
in which case it would write to your container logfile.

HTH,
Hank
