correct. It’s listed as a new feature in the 3.6 changelist (http://www.orbeon.com/ops/doc/home-changes-36) Cheers, Gerrit From: Park, Michael

Hi all,
I'm quite new in using ops. I'm looking for a method how to respond ops with an xml-file as parameter in order to get html - source back from ops to publish it in a browser? Is there any idea of how soon 3.6 may be
released? I ask because I’d rather hold out for 3.6 if it’s not
too far off. Thanks! From: Gerrit Germis

Mike,
That's right, this feature was absent from 3.5.1. You have to use a recent nightly build to have this feature. We are Crossing our fingers, but most of the bugs we wanted to fix for 3.6 are now in, so the release should happen soon. -Erik Park, Michael wrote: > Hi, > > > > I would like to perform the separate deployment method mentioned in the > documentation. That's great! Just an FYI, I noticed the config/theme directory was
missing from the nightly build. Therefore no orbeon.css, etc. Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: Erik Bruchez [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Erik Bruchez Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2007 11:55 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: [ops-users] Separate WAR Deployment Mike, That's right, this feature was absent from 3.5.1. Sorry about that. I found the notes on the theme dir for 3.6 here:
http://www.orbeon.com/ops/doc/home-changes-36 Theme CSS stylesheets moved to private location. The files under RESOURCES/config/theme have been moved to ops-resources-public.jar. -----Original Message----- From: Park, Michael [mailto:[hidden email]] Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2007 11:59 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: RE: [ops-users] Separate WAR Deployment That's great! I'm working/creating/designing on online forms HTML/XForm and I'dl ike to use ops as the XForm processor to transform created XForms in HTML and to fill them after in any internet browser and store the filed data into a DB. My question is, I do not know how to ask ops from one of my JSP - Classes, please take my XForm - source, transform it to HTML and give it me back. Does ops has some interface to response such inquiry's or does ops only works with XFroms from within his repository? The answer is yes: see this part of the documentation, in particular the
part about "separate deployment": http://www.orbeon.com/ops/doc/reference-xforms-java -Erik E.Kononov wrote: > Dear community, > I'm working/creating/designing on online forms HTML/XForm and I'dl ike > to use ops as the XForm processor to transform created XForms in HTML > and to fill them after in any internet browser and store the filed data > into a DB. > My question is, I do not know how to ask ops from one of my JSP - > Classes, please take my XForm - source, transform it to HTML and give it > me back. From recent posts it appears that there were some problems deploying ops with Jetty. Has ops-xforms been successfully deployed using Jetty and if so which versions of ops and Jetty were used. Is there an example? Does it just require the appropriate jetty-web.xml like the jboss-web.xml or sun-web.xml in the ops examples? -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. George,
I have a pending fix related to character encodings with Jetty. I am not very familiar with Jetty but I don't think you will need a particular descriptor to get started. -Erik [hidden email] wrote: > > From recent posts it appears that there were some problems deploying > ops with Jetty. > Has ops-xforms been successfully deployed using Jetty and if so which > versions of ops and Jetty were used. > Is there an example? > Does it just require the appropriate jetty-web.xml like the > jboss-web.xml or sun-web.xml in the ops examples? > -- Orbeon Forms - Web Forms for the Enterprise Done the Right Way http://www.orbeon.com/ -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list.
