Conditional display of html / tables

, but this had no effect- not surprised tbh.

Any hints?

I can turn on and off triggers, input boxes, selects.....with ref=".[condtion = expected]" no problem.  Is there any way to conditionaly display html.   Reason being I want the layout of the form to change depending on the value of an xml element.

Yes, you can use an <xforms:group ref=".[condition]"> around your HTML.

Yes, just put an xforms:group around the HTML.
