I'm having similar problems.
If I try http://<myurl>/orbeon-15-05-08/fr/builder I get Exception Class org.orbeon.oxf.common.ValidationException Message Condition failed for every branch of choose: [/result/matches = 'true'] If I try http://<myurl>/orbeon-15-05-08/fr/orbeon/builder I get Exception Class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError Message Could not initialize class org.exist.xquery.modules.ngram.NGramModule Using Firefox 2 on XP. Ignore my last. I created a new directory and re-installed and the builder
now appears. Previously I installed in the existing directory. -----Original Message----- From: Erik Bruchez [mailto:[hidden email]] Sent: Thursday, May 15, 2008 1:50 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: [ops-users] Re: Re: Announcing Orbeon Form Builder Sorry I meant: http://<myurl>/orbeon-15-05-08/fr/orbeon/builder -Erik On May 15, 2008, at 11:21 AM, Alex Sharaz wrote: > O.k. I bumped into a new problem after installing the latest Nightly
Build, Orbeon Forms 3.6.0.200805150731. Now, the UI shows everything at once including hidden UI components (see the attachment). I haven't faced this problem before. Great job!! Congrats to all of you.
Does this mean that we do not need to write any code at all form this point on?

This seems to tell us that the CSS is not being loaded for some reason.
Do you see an exception in the logs? Does anybody else see that? -Erik On May 15, 2008, at 12:49 PM, .::: Markku :::. wrote: > I bumped into a new problem after installing the latest Nightly > Build, Orbeon Forms 3.6.0.200805150731. Yes, we can now all retire ;-) More seriously, Form Builder does not yet do everything, so there is still room for programmers. But we have a long list of features we would like to add. Fantastic job!
It is very simple to use and produces very good looking and functional forms. On my machine, it looks like saving the form is disabled. Do I need to configure something? Could you point us to the persistence layer: I need to customize it. Best, Hugues On Thu, May 15, 2008 at 3:05 PM, Erik Bruchez <[hidden email]> wrote: >> Great job!! Programming Xforms is fun and challenging. Which area of Orbeon XForms do you think a lot of the manual coding will be taken away. Will the form builder take away the need for people to write complex XPath expressions, regular expressions, etc. Writing these expressions are part of the fun of programming XForms. Writing these expressions by hand can be fun and very satisfying.

i just downloaded the latest Orbeon nightly Build war and brought up your great looking Form Builder: http://localhost:9000/orbeon/fr/builder/ I then clicked on the "New Form" button. I got a page that said "Condition failed for every branch of choose: [/result/matches = 'true']" Am I doing something wrong? thanks ilango

Will I ever get a URL right? The answer was: remove the trailing
slash, AND add the /orbeon/ part ;-) So: http://localhost:9000/orbeon/fr/orbeon/builder Adjust host, port and context according to your local settings. -Erik On May 15, 2008, at 5:00 PM, Hugues Malphettes wrote: > Try: http://localhost:9000/orbeon/fr/orbeon/builder/ > Hugues. > > On Thu, May 15, 2008 at 4:57 PM, ilango_g <[hidden email]> wrote: >> >> Erik >> i just downloaded the latest Orbeon nightly Build war and brought >> up your >> great looking Form Builder: >> >> http://localhost:9000/orbeon/fr/builder/ >> >> I then clicked on the "New Form" button. >> I got a page that said "Condition failed for every branch of choose: >> [/result/matches = 'true']" >> >> Am I doing something wrong? >> >> thanks >> ilango >> >> Erik Bruchez wrote: >>> >>> All, >>> >>> Our latest blog entry: >>> >>> http://www.orbeon.com/blog/2008/05/14/announcing-orbeon-form-builder/ >>> >>> Enjoy, >>> >>> -Erik >>> >>> -- >>> Orbeon Forms - Web Forms for the Enterprise Done the Right Way >>> http://www.orbeon.com/ >>> >>> >>> >>> -- >>> You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] >>> mailing >>> list. >>> To unsubscribe: mailto:[hidden email] >>> For general help: mailto:[hidden email]?subject=help >>> OW2 mailing lists service home page: http://www.ow2.org/wws >>> >>> >> >> -- >> View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Announcing-Orbeon-Form-Builder-tp17258614p17264932.html >> Sent from the ObjectWeb OPS - Users mailing list archive at >> Nabble.com. >> >> >> >> -- >> You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] >> mailing list. >> To unsubscribe: mailto:[hidden email] >> For general help: mailto:[hidden email]?subject=help >> OW2 mailing lists service home page: http://www.ow2.org/wws >> >> > > -- > You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] > mailing list. > To unsubscribe: mailto:[hidden email] > For general help: mailto:[hidden email]?subject=help > OW2 mailing lists service home page: http://www.ow2.org/wws Orbeon Forms - Web Forms for the Enterprise Done the Right Way http://www.orbeon.com/ -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. Thanks a lot!
However, don't hesitate to send in (constructive) criticism, it will be very welcome. We will have documentation on integration soon. We have most of the doc on integration, but it's not online yet. -Erik On May 15, 2008, at 3:14 PM, Hugues Malphettes wrote: > Fantastic job! > It is very simple to use and produces very good looking and > functional forms. > > On my machine, it looks like saving the form is disabled. > Do I need to configure something? > Could you point us to the persistence layer: I need to customize it. > > Best, > Hugues > > > > On Thu, May 15, 2008 at 3:05 PM, Erik Bruchez <[hidden email]> > wrote: >>> Great job!!
