yui calendar and 31st dates

Hi,

As mail archives are not working at the moment, I don't know if this is reported yet. But new YUI calendar is doing some annoying tricks with dates like 31st of October. By choosing 31. October in calendar widget, it is output as 1. October. It can be changed to 31, by choosing this date again. But users find it quite annoying. Same goes with any month that has more than 30 days in it.

Same tricks can be observed in controls example in orbeon.com web site.

And somehow I cannot switch calendar back to jcalendar. Changing properties.xml file datapicker to "jcalendar" does not help.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I still have problems with dates, even in latest nightly build, but now they turned out to be more severe. Dates like 2008-10-31, get converted to 2008-10-01 if bind type is set to xs:date or xf:date. Even if I manage to enter date like 2008-10-31, after submission it gets converted to 2008-10-01. Changing calendar type to jscalendar (found little typo in porperties.xml, there it says to choose between "yui" or "jcalendar", but should have said - "jscalendar") does not solve anything. So i guess it's somewhere in xs:date type handling routines. And I don't see any workaround now.

I'm using Firefox 3.0 on Linux, but same error is observed also on Windows Firefox 3.0. Don't know about IE. It can be easily reproduced in www.orbeon.com site's xforms controls example.

A related bug was fixed yesterday. Can you try again with the latest build?
