xpl if ?

Adrian Baker
I was a little surprised to find that there is no simple 'if' construct in XPL.

Obviously the same affect can be achieved with a choose, when - but it adds yet another level of nesting & is that much harder to read at a glance.

Adrian,

That's right, there is no "p:if". It would be a nice shortcut, but I
doubt we will add this as in the future we will probably follow XProc
[1] which, BTW, at the moment does not have an "if" construct either.
