xforms:output & mediatype

damien.peymirat
Hi all,

I have a model.xpl which produces html and xforms at the output. However, when I want to use this in my view.xml using <xforms:output ref="..." mediatype="text/html"> the html is well display but the xforms is not display. So does a xforms mediatype exist with Orbeon ???

Thank you for your answers

Damien.

If I understand well, your xforms:output refers to HTML that contains
nested XForms controls?

With OPS xforms:output only supports displaying HTML without nested
XForms. In fact the XForms WG has just decided during our face to face
meeting last week that with XForms 1.1, implementations are not
required to process such nested XForms. This would be a nice feature
but the implications are complex and beyond the scope of XForms 1.1.

In you case, you should be able to generate the (X)HTML and XForms
when the page is loaded, without using xforms:output, right? Of course
this means that you can't change that dynamically after the page is
loaded.
