timeout for submissions

Hi,
We're addressing a remote webservice from XPL and got the advice to use a submission processor and not a delegate processor, as the submission processor is newer and better supported.
 
However, in the delegate processor there is an option to set a timeout, which is not there in the submission processor. Any plans to implement this?
