I tested the validation processor by referencing an xml file and schema located within the root directory of the orbeon application as an initial test.  I get the following error on gMonth:

Error "--05" does not satisfy the "gMonth" type(schema: null)

The value is in correct format per gMonth specification?

When I remove this element, which is not required per schema, I get no error and the xml file is returned in the browser.

Is this a bug?  

I do not control the schema since it is quite complex and constructed by the State of Pennsylvania so I can not change the schema.
