This should be as simple as setting property:
<property
as="xs:string" name="oxf.xforms.format.input.date"
value="[D]/[M]/[Y]"/>

I've searched the mailing list
archive and although the topic of input date formats has been
discussed, there doesn't appear to be a solution yet?
At present, once I've selected the
date from the date picker that is provided by Orbeon, it
appears in the US format which is MM/DD/YYYY.
Any thoughts?
