I’m afraid I cannot help you on this one; although I work with both solutions (LifeRay and Orbeon), I’ve never used or tested the “stock” Orbeon builds (that is, the examples which come along or the formbuilder).

 

May I suggest you try to to get Orbeon to work outside of the portal? I presume you add the stock Orbeon .war to the deploy dir of LifeRay? If so, there’s nothing fancy going on. LifeRay only deploys the war by installing it on your server and making an Iframe portlet named after your war file.

 

I’m wondering why Orbeon tries to go to page-flow-edit.xml; AFAIK default behavior of Orbeon is to go to page-flow.xml.

Hello Robin,

Thanks for your response. I have a Liferay bundle with Jboss. (Liferay Portal 6.0.5). I have downloaded Orbeon Forms 3.8.

I have deployed orbeon.war and I can add the portlet in Liferay, but I had a problem (I have solved it). When I started JBoss I got an error

ERROR [STDERR] java.lang.ClassCastException: org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl cannot be cast to javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory

I solved it thanks to http://forge.ow2.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=315005&group_id=168&atid=350207

but now I get new errors when I try to test some examples in the portlet. I get this error Cannot load "/apps/portlet-welcome/page-flow-edit.xml" with webapp loader

I am trying to solve it.

Can I create new Orbeon forms from the portlet??
