Are you talking about the file names selected? If so I am pretty sure
that this issue has come up in the past already but I can't find a
trace of it.
What's happening when you delete a repeated control with Orbeon Forms
(by deleting an instance node) is that the client (web browser) always
remove the last UI control associated with it. This is the way our
difference algorithm works at the moment.
With all the other controls, this is not a problem because Orbeon
Forms tells the client what new values the control must have, and the
user doesn't notice this. But as you have noticed, with upload, this
doesn't work, because there is no way we know of to set the file name
within an HTML upload field.
So right now, I have to say that I don't have a workaround, except
change your UI to only allow deleting the last upload.
In the future, the server should be smarter ;-) I have entered a bug
to track this:
