Vineeth,
If I understand your question right, you are trying to read the contents of the uploaded file on the server side? Please find attached an example XPL of how I did it. Hope that helps. Vineeth,
perhaps you could send an example with what you are trying to do? What is the purpose/content of the file? What other data are you sending? Also, to ensure we are not talking across purposes, what is your definition of the word "model"? Here is one: http://www.w3schools.com/xforms/xforms_model.asp Henrik On 11/1/06, vineeth joyson <[hidden email]> wrote: > > Henrik > > Problem is not that i am not getting the file but if i want to get the file > i have to specify the value of replace arrtibute of the submission element > as "all". Vineeth,
It is not currently possible to use @replace="instance" with an xforms:upload control Ryan Ryan Puddephatt Software Engineer Teleflex Group - IT UK 1 Michaelson Square Livingston West Lothian Scotland EH54 7DP e> [hidden email] t> +44(0)1506 407 110 f> +44(0)1506 407 108 >-----Original Message----- >From: vineeth joyson [mailto:[hidden email]] >Sent: 01 November 2006 09:48 >To: [hidden email] >Subject: Re: [ops-users] problem using upload control when >submitting towards a model > > >Henrik > >Problem is not that i am not getting the file but if i want to >get the file i have to specify the value of replace arrtibute >of the submission element as "all". Vineeth,
This is a known current limitation of upload: you can't use replace="instance" or replace="none". But if everything goes well, this will be improved shortly. Adrian has also nicely summarized the issues here: http://mail-archive.objectweb.org/ops-users/2006-10/msg00333.html Until that's implemented, you can only use replace="all" to submit uploaded files. -Erik vineeth joyson wrote: > > Henrik > > Problem is not that i am not getting the file but if i want to get the > file i have to specify the value of replace arrtibute of the submission > element as "all".
