The orbeon form rendered on the page contains data-toggle="dropdown". Our
custom header menus based on bootstrap are also using the same class data-toggle="dropdown". So we are facing difficulty in integrating the forms with the project. We are using hybris 6.6 and orbeon form is added on the form using YForm CMS Component. The generated html of the orbeon form contains hidden dropdown with options "Insert above, Insert Below, Move up, Move down, Rename" enclosed in data-toggle="dropdown". Screenshot of it attached. Is there any configuration in orbeon form to not generate data-toggle="dropdown"? <http://discuss.orbeon.com/file/t375698/up_down.png> -- Sent from: http://discuss.orbeon.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Orbeon Forms" group. Hi Rohan,
As you know, the `data-toggle="dropdown"` is for Bootstrap, which Orbeon Forms uses, and I imagine, you're using as well in your own HTML that embeds a form created with Form Builder. And this should be fine. But what is the integration difficulty you are talking about? Is it is a styling issue, or something else? ‑Alex ----- -- Follow Orbeon on Twitter: @orbeon Follow me on Twitter: @avernet -- Sent from: http://discuss.orbeon.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Orbeon Forms" group. Hi Alex,
Thanks for your prompt response. Ux team has come up with analysis that content page consists of header, body and footer as usual. In the header there is a Nav Bar with dropdown based on bootstrap 3.3.7. If page's body contains orbeon form then the bootstrap based dropdown stops working. On other pages where body does not contain orbeon form, Nav Bar with dropdown in the header works. According to Ux team their probable guess is that orbeon form is preventing dropdown click event. Is this some sort of issue already known? Regards Rohan -- Sent from: http://discuss.orbeon.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Orbeon Forms" group. Hi Rohan,
And you're saying that when the form is embedded on the page, your own Bootstrap dropdown doesn't work all. This is not a known issue. Are you having when you embed a form created with Form Builder, or is it with Form Builder itself? (I imagine it is the former, but would just like to confirm.) Are you using any repeated grid in your form? (I imagine you are based on the screenshot you posted.) ‑Alex ----- -- Follow Orbeon on Twitter: @orbeon Follow me on Twitter: @avernet -- Sent from: http://discuss.orbeon.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Orbeon Forms" group. Hi Alex,
The Ux team identified that it was due to some customization done in the project in some js libraries and when orbeon form added it's own libraries there was a conflict. They have now resolved it.
