[ops-users] Mailing-list migration

Erik Bruchez
Administrator
All,

As some of you may have noticed, the ops-users is being migrated by the
OW2 team from the objectweb.org domain to the ow2.org domain.

If you have filters or tags in place in your email client, you may have
to update them.

We apologize in advance if you encounter issues during this migration.

-Erik

All,

When sending messages to the list, you might receive back a message
from Mail Delivery System <[hidden email]> telling you
about a "mail forwarding loop for [hidden email]".

You can safely ignore this message. Despite the error, your message
has been safely delivered to the list. You can always double check
that your message got to the list by looking for your message in the
Nabble archive for the list:

http://www.nabble.com/ObjectWeb-OPS---Users-f2537.html

We are working with the OW2 team on this issue and hope that it will
be resolved soon.

All,

I just wanted to post a quick update relative to the mailing list
migration. With the help of the OW2.org the issue of that error
message you were receiving when posting to the list has been resolved.

If you are using Nabble, be aware that most of the new messages won't
show up in the list archive. More precisely, messages sent to the new
email address ([hidden email]) aren't showing, as Nabble sees that
as a separate list. We have already contacted Nabble support and
hopefully they will agree to have [hidden email] and
[hidden email] merged.

The good people at Nabble have updated the setup for this mailing list
on Nabble, and we now have one single archive for this mailing list
with both the messages that have been sent in the past to
[hidden email] and new messages sent to [hidden email].
The URL for the archive now looks a little obsolete, but at least it
hasn't changed:

http://www.nabble.com/ObjectWeb-OPS---Users-f2537.html

Note that it is possible that a few messages didn't make it to the
Nabble archive.
