non-javascript CHECKBOX instance value

Dear All, I have created a check box (by binding it to boolean). Its instance is changable in JAVASCRIPT enabled browser but not in JAVASCRIPT disabled one. Could any one help me in this. Thanks in advance and Regards, Murali Manohar M
