need to serve a file without page-flow mechanism..

richhl
I've seen doc and list I have to make an entry like this in
my app page-flow.xml:

    <files path-info="*.jar"
mime-type="application/java-archive"/>

but don't know where do I have to put the file in order to
get it back...

my app is reached by
http://machine.domain/ops/xforms-ehistoria and I've tried to
put the file to be served at:

{$tomcat.install.dir}/webapps/ops/WEB-INF/resources/file.jar

to reach it with:

http://machine.domain/ops/xforms-ehistoria/file.jar

but i've got an HTTP Status 404 -type Status report message
from Tomcat.

any advice not being "use the source, Luke" ;-)?

greetings,

rich

Luckily I don't think you need the source to solve this ;-)

For this to work, you have to put the JAR file under:

{$tomcat.install.dir}/webapps/ops/WEB-INF/resources/xforms-ehistoria/
file.jar

The path in your browser under the Orbeon Forms servlet context is the
path that's being used to address the file in the resources. In this
case:

   xforms-ehistoria/file.jar
