mysql compatibility with OPS

hodack
Hello,

Does anyone know if there are some versions of mysql which are not
compatible or might not work as expected with OPS ? If yes could you
also provide the OS you are using ?

For instance 5.0.41-community-nt MySQL Community Edition (GPL) works
well under Windows XP, but
5.0.21-Debian_3ubuntu1 Debian Etch distribution doesn't work as expected
under Ubuntu server 7.04.

If anyone has experienced mysql and OPS under Ubuntu (or any other Linux
OS) I would be interested to hear about your experiences.

I don't expect you will hit any issue with MySQL and Ubuntu. I know
that some here are running Orbeon Forms on Ubuntu and accessing a
MySQL server, but I can't give you the exact versions. As long as the
MySQL JDBC driver runs on a given platform, since Orbeon Forms will be
going through that driver, you should really be fine.
