make one case of the switch relevant to the other

Hi,

I have 2 questions:

1) Is there a (simple) way of checking if all elements on 1 case of a
switch are filled in (at least the required ones)
2) Is it possible to make sure that the 2nd case of the switch is only
reachable when then previous case forfills the question i asked here above.
