how to do troubleshooting. i am beginner

I had an issue with form. when i click save button, saving ran all the time. no message, no stop. i used browser to kill it but also lost the data in form. i am new to this form. i am not sure where to start.

1. i would like to know how to stop this saving button running.
2. where bugs are.

any ideas will be appreciated.
