Bala,
What do you mean by "disable the icon"? Do you want the icon to still
be there and just do nothing, or do you want the icon to be hidden? In
both cases, set the value of a flag somewhere in an instance when you
open the dialog, and maybe reset it when you close it. To hide the
icon, bind the trigger with ref=".[check if flag is not set]". To just
make the icon do nothing, add on the xforms:action an if="check if
flag is not set".
