help with fr-mode = ''edit'' in a section not working for forms entered earlier

Hi,

I have a form build and working perfectly and I have many  documents entered
and all saved in  orbeon_form_data database.

The problem now is that I added a fr-mode = ''edit'' in a Read-Only on some
existing fields to have them read only at editing but this only works for
new documents but not for the existing ones?

Do I need to run a sql or anything on erxisting xml's to have the check set
in the existing ones or set something in the properties-local file?

Or is there any workaround for this?

Can find any docs related to this.

What do you mean by "adding a fr-mode = ''edit'' in a Read-Only"? Are you referring to the `fr:mode()` function? And you are using that function in Form Builder, in the "Read-Only" expression for a field?

You're saying that you want those fields to be read-only when the form is in edit mode? When don't you want the fields to be read-only? Why not just use `false()` if you never want them to be read-only?
