& < > escape char in form builder

Hi
I am using Orbeon form builder, if my user enter any of "& <  >"
characters in text area or text field in my form , the data after them will be removed

is there a way to handle this issue and let my user enter escape characters




xml column in orbeon_form_data table

.....
                    <additional_clause_detail_section>
                        <additional_clause_detail_section-iteration>
                               <plh_additional_clause_body>This line contains and  
                              </plh_additional_clause_body>
                        </additional_clause_detail_section-iteration>
                    </additional_clause_detail_section>

I am not reproducing this. What version of Orbeon Forms are you using? What what exact steps should I follow to reproduce the issue?
