document provided on the request input is set as the default xforms instance

gowda
Hi Everybody
I stumbled across the following statement as I wade through the good tutorial that Orbeon has for us.My page of interest right now is:
www.orbeon.com/ops/doc/processors-submission

I would like to know where the following code is used :
"p:processor name"oxf:xforms-submission">
------------
-------------
--------
</p:processor>

Is it in an XPL file or if I interpret it (wrongly perhaps?) that it is placed as the default xforms instance as --

<xforms:model>

 <p:processor name"oxf:xforms-submission">

    ----------
    ---------

   </p:processor>

Please clarify what the statement "the document provided on the request input is set as the default Xforms instance."

Is there any XForms example that can exemplify this situation?

thanks

the p:processor is placed in a XPL pipeline. But you can issue a REST
submission directly in the xforms model using the xforms:submission
element [1].

If i understand it correctly, this has to do with the usage of the
xforms:submission element inside the processor input. If you would
implement a xforms:submission directly in a xforms:model, you have the
possibility to declare which instance should be submitted (if the
instance isn't specified, the instance that contains the submission data
is used).

Now, if you use the xforms:submission element in the submission
processor, you won't specify the instance to submit in the
xforms:submission element, because this is done using the request input
of the xforms-submission processor. So, the usage of the
xforms:submission element is slightly different from the syntax used
inside a xforms model.
