Solutions we have used:
<xforms:delete context="attributes" while="attribute"
nodeset="attribute"/>
or:
<xforms:delete xxforms:iterate="attributes/attribute" nodeset="."/>
But we really need to fix xforms:delete to delete all the nodes, this
way you will be able to write simply:
<xforms:delete nodeset="attributes/attribute"/>
