Xforms + Intalio designer

chathurangamdk
I'm using intalio-bpms-server-5.1.0.019 server to implement wrok flows. There using intalio designer 5.1.0.022 to create xforms.

I have used five input boxes in one of the forms to input integer values. But before submitting the form, the sum of those input should less than 100. How can I do that validation using intalio designer?

Thank You.!

Chathuranga.

Chathuranga,

You may want to ask this question in the Intalio forums.

But I don't think the Intalio designer allows you to specify that kind
of constraints. You will have to edit the XForms and add the
constraint yourself using xforms:bind.

Re: Xforms + Intalio designer

Hi Erik
I came across the following link on the internet and it interested me greatly because of the mention of Orbeon in it:

http://developers.sun.com/learning/javaoneonline/2007/pdf/TS-80955.pdf
It talks about an Orbeon-based Web 2.0 application...
"Demo
• We’ll have a Web 2.0-based demo of
bracketology
• The user interface is driven by XForms
• The data is accessed through SDO
• The services are tied together with SCA

Technologies
• The XForms interface is driven by the open-source
Oberon XForms engine
• The data is stored in Hibernate and Spring
• The services are written in Java code and PHP

Do you know about this demo by any chance? I was trying to download the application but could not find any find any reference to it on Sun's JavaOne pages.

Any suggestions in regard to this are appreciated.

Ilango,

I don't know more about this demo. Also, from a quick glance at the
slides, I don't think the demo was done with Orbeon Forms.

Best,

Re: Re: Re: Xforms + Intalio designer

ilango_g
Thanks for getting back to me, Erik.
The reason I thought there was Orbeon in it was the mention of Oberon XForms  engine as in the following

"Demo
• Technologies
• The XForms interface is driven by the open-source
Oberon XForms engine
• The data is stored in Hibernate and Spring
• The services are written in Java code and PHP

and I was pretty sure I saw the Orbeon web site mentioned there.

Well, maybe I was wrong after all.

thanks
ilango
