Hi,
I have a requirement to use tree view in portlet but the orbeon provided appearance="xxforms:tree" works fine as a web-application but is not working in portlet. Are there any changes to be made ?? Regards, Vinith Gowda. |

Which version of Orbeon Forms are you using? There shouldn't be
anything to change, but there might be a bug. -Erik On May 4, 2009, at 2:31 AM, VinithGowda wrote: > > Hi, > > I have a requirement to use tree view in portlet but the orbeon > provided > appearance="xxforms:tree" works fine as a web-application but is not > working > in portlet. > > Are there any changes to be made ?? > > Regards, > > Vinith Gowda. > -- > View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/XXforms%3Atree-not-working-in-Liferay-tp23365507p23365507.html > Sent from the ObjectWeb OPS - Users mailing list archive at > Nabble.com. > > > -- > You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] > mailing list. > To unsubscribe: mailto:[hidden email] > For general help: mailto:[hidden email]?subject=help > OW2 mailing lists service home page: http://www.ow2.org/wws Orbeon Forms - Web Forms for the Enterprise Done the Right Way http://www.orbeon.com/ -- You receive this message as a subscriber of the [hidden email] mailing list. Hi,
i discovered the same problem too. The tree view is not working in combination with Portlet and Internet Explorer. There is always a Javascript Error in Line 91, Character 42917 which complains about "data.value is null or not an object. Then the form seems to be completly broken and is unuseable. With Firefox, the tree works as desired. -JensD

JenD,
Is it working for you on IE if you run this code in a servlet environment (instead of as a portlet)? Alex |
Hi Alex,
Yes, it's working perfectly in a servlet environment. For example if i use the sandbox to run the form it's ok. -JensD |

JensD,
Thank you for taking the time to test this. If it works fine in a servlet environment, there isn't much I can do to help here on the list. Maybe someone can suggest an idea. Otherwise I think you'll need to investigate this yourself, or contact info@orbeon.com for Development Support (http://www.orbeon.com/support-services/development). Alex |
