XForms questions

Robert Leftwich
I'm evaluating OPS for a project (and it is looking good! - I think the OPS team
has done a great job of integrating all the XML technologies), and I have a
couple of questions/issues:

1. Is it possible to bind to an xs:date and have both the date input control and
the js calendar widget usable? ATM if I modify the date using the input control
I get an error: "Event target id 'xforms-element-19-1-1-iso-date' is not an
XFormsEventTarget." If this is not possible, shouldn't the input control be made
read-only?

2. Along similar lines, if I bind using xs:time can the format be limited to
hh:mm rather than hh:mm:ss? (I'm betting not (at this point at least) based on a
similar question in the mailing list regarding xs:date formatting).

Thanks.

Robert

Yes, that's a bug. Just entered it:

We plan to support date formatting, see:

http://forge.objectweb.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=303977&group_id=168&atid=350210

I added a note about supporting time formatting as well. Hopefully
this will make it to 3.0 final.
