XForms error: Unable to retrieve XForms engine state from session cache

Tanya Gray (Oxford)
Hi

I have an input form that is generated on-the-fly from an XML schema.
http://darwin.nox.ac.uk/orbeon/gcat/reports/create/input

On my local machine, all works fine. On the server, however, the XForms engine state error message appears further to any user action, e.g. selecting a trigger.

I have looked at other related threads but cannot see a cause for this error  in the case I have described. Does anyone know what might be the cause?

thanks very much
Tanya

I just want to add to this, that forms with fewer input controls work fine on the server.

You might want to increase the oxf.xforms.cache.session.size property
in config/properties.xml. The size is in bytes, take into account your
number of concurrent users and your heap size when sizing this. Also
note that we are looking into improving cache handling to reduce the
amount of memory used by the session cache, and to provide cache
persistence.

That's right. This should come real-soon-now(tm).
