XForms Model within Body

Nestor Oviedo
Hi, I'm trying to put the XForms Model within the Body section, but Orbeon doesn't work correctly: it just writes the label elements, without the controls .
In the XForms 1.0 Recommendation publicated by W3C, doesn't say that the Model has to be in the Head section but that would typically be contained within that section.
So, bug ? , Orbeon doesn't support this feature ?

Tanks!
Nestor

Nestor,

Indeed, Orbeon Forms only looks for model elements in the html head
element.

Yes and no. The XForms engine is triggered only if there is at least
one model within the head.

However, the XForms engine is now able to look for models anywhere in
the document.

So for now if you place at least one model within head, other models
will be picked up elsewhere as well.

This could certainly be improved. The question is what should the
algorithm be to trigger XForms processing? Just look for xforms:model
anywhere in the document?
