XForms Instance Inspector Xpath Problem

devo
Hello,

I am having a problem with the Instance Inspector.  It displays all my instances properly, but when I try to run and Xpath it throws an error and this is all the error says:

Exception in client-side code.
•Message: Object required

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks.

Yes, I get this all the time because the xpath is a little different
within the inspector because of single node binding, the fact that
all XForms instances must have a single top node, and references
assume this, but the inspector doesn't.

(hopefully a correct explanation...)

In any case, try the easy stuff like / and /* and see what
you get, and I think you will find that you have to include
the top level node in the XPath.
