Wizard view selection

Hi,
  There is an RFE for this, https://github.com/orbeon/orbeon-forms/issues/621 and I was wondering if there are any plans to do this in the near future?

We are likely to require a mixture of wizard based and single page multi section forms. We can sort of do it by using two app names, configuring one for wizard view and storing form definitions in one or the other as required but this is somewhat clumsy.

What would be nice would be a control on the form so I could toggle between wizard and non-wizard views and have a default setting for when a new instance is opened.

I'm coming up against this again. It will be asked for by our customers who design their own forms. Wizard mode is great but not being able to select which templates are wizard mode and which ones are not without doing a property file change will make wizard mode painful to use.

Any chance this could be done in the next release?

It doesn't seem too hard to do. We can consider it for 4.10 but we can't quite promise yet.
