Where is the guide of form builder component?

Hi,
but where is the guide about the single builder component...I see only the
guide about the pure code.
For example I serach about dynamic-data-dropdown but I see only the guide

that don't explain the component but only the code under the component, but
i use the form builder so for me is not important

For example I want to use this component with csv file but there isn't any
documentation!!!!

Hi Alessio,

Indeed, we have no documentation for that component in the context of Form Builder :(. But in essence, that component allows you download XML available at a given URL (e.g. provided by a service), and extract data from that document to populate your dropdown, so you don't have to hardcode the values in the form you create in Form Builder.

However, it doesn't know how to consume CSV. So you'll need to either take the values in the CSV and enter them manually in Form Builder, or convert the CSV into XML, make the XML available at a given URL, and have that component point to it. And if you decide to go with that route, just let me know if you need help with the XPath expressions in "Control Settings".

Alessio, did you figure out how to populate the dropdown, maybe by creating a
service that converts the CSV to XML? -Alex

Thanks for the response.
Now is all ok, I have created the component and configuration is ok for
xml..My problem now is that my apache use https and not http.
Is possibile to use http with this component?
