Ryan,
Firefox tends to get slower and slower as you use it with pages that are
fairly heavy in JavaScript. Restarting the browser solves the problem.
Nothing has changed recently in this area in the OPS code as far as I
know. I suspect that the fasterfox install didn't have that much effect
on JavaScript performance as a browser restart.
There may be workarounds to look into, but clearly this doesn't happen
with IE.
