Validation popup showing without submitting form

In some cases, while still entering data into the form (or after a few seconds), the popup which is supposed to be displayed upon trying to submit the form (which has errors) is displayed and closing it is difficult (it doesn't close upon clickin the Ok button for the first time).
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? I'm using Orbeon Forms 2016.3 and haven't had this problem while I was using 4.8.

Hi Masha,

What is "the popup which is supposed to be displayed upon trying to submit
the form" you are referring to? I don't recall this as a built-in
functionality. Would you be able to share a screenshot of that dialog with
us?
