The Submission Resource - The Resource Element

Please confirm or correct my understanding of Orbeon's 3.7 beta.

I wish to use a <xf:submission> with a calculated URI. My belief is that the XForms 1.1 Submission Resource resource Element (http://www.w3.org/TR/xforms11/#submit-resource-elem
), is unimplemented, and that instead I should use the Orbeon extension mechanism of an Attribute Value Template. Is this the recommended way to accomplish this with Orbeon?

Is there any particular reason why AVTs are used rather than the Resource element? What are the future plans in this area? I would like to understand this area of Orbeon better.

Yes.

We think that AVTs are the right way of providing dynamic values for  
attributes, because the syntax is so much lighter.

We will probably implement xforms:resource at some point, but we  
already have a pretty generic AVT mechanism so in many cases we  
support AVTs.

BTW it would be great if somebody volunteered to implement the  
xforms:submission/xforms:resource element as well as the missing sub-
elements from XForms 1.1.
