Does any Tamino / Orbeon users know if the Tamino Java Extension needs to be installed in order for Tamino to connect to Orbeon? I can't get Tamino to connect and thought maybe it was because I don't have the extension. Julia,
It should work by adding the jars to the lib directory. Do you have any tamino tools installed on you PC? can you connect using them? Have you tried pointing your browser at the tamino server to see if you get any data back? Ryan

Hi Ryan,
I can successfully query Tamino through a browser. I have full access to the Tamino server and the following Tamino tools I use regularly: Tamino Manager Interactive Interface X-Plorer Schema Editor Xquery X-Tension Builder I am still getting the Tamino Access error. I have the jars copied over. I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated as I'm dead in the water with my project until I get this working. I am waiting for approval on hiring Orbeon for support. ______________ Julia Jacobs Documentation Tools Specialist - Information Design & Development HD Supply 501 W Church St. Orlando, FL 32805-2232 407-822-2414 One Team, Driving Customer Success and Shareholder Value ________________________________ From: Ryan Puddephatt [mailto:[hidden email]] Sent: Friday, March 16, 2007 10:01 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: [ops-users] Tamino Extensions Needed for Orbeon Julia, It should work by adding the jars to the lib directory. Just an aside,
I also restarted all of the services after adding the jars (i.e Tomcat and all of the Software AG services) and making any preference changes. ______________ Julia Jacobs Documentation Tools Specialist - Information Design & Development HD Supply 501 W Church St. Orlando, FL 32805-2232 407-822-2414 One Team, Driving Customer Success and Shareholder Value ________________________________ From: Ryan Puddephatt [mailto:[hidden email]] Sent: Friday, March 16, 2007 10:01 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: [ops-users] Tamino Extensions Needed for Orbeon Julia, It should work by adding the jars to the lib directory. Julia,
Are you sure you have your config input for the tamino query processor correct?? The config input we use typically looks like this ... <config> <url>http://my.tamino.server.com/tamino/DBName</url> <username>myUserName</username> <password>myPassword</password> <collection>CollectionName</collection> </config> and the data input like this .... <query> /someQuery </query> Steve Jacobs, Julia A [HDS] wrote: Hi Ryan, I can successfully query Tamino through a browser.
