Separate Deployment

My question is simple:

Did someone ever manage to use separate deployment method and make it work (at least with IE on client-side)?

We are using it all the time and it works great, including IE. The only problem is that we are stuck with Orbeon Forms 3.6.0.200712181809 and we are not able to utilize fixes in the latest nightly builds because separate deployment method is broken (URL rewriting).

The "only" problem with the version we are using is that it does not work with Firefox 3 (has been fixed in Orbeon Forms 3.7).

Regarding the URL rewriting – I also use the separate deployment and found that going from version 3.6 to 3.7 broke all of my image, css and instance src paths. Is this what you are referring to? And do you know if this is listed as an open issue?

Yes, that's exactly what I am referring to. Please, find the bug report
at:
http://forge.objectweb.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=310890&group_id=168&atid=350207

The issue has been added quite a long time ago but it still remains open
even though it is a priority 9 (highest) issue. Seems that the guys at
Orbeon Forms are extremely busy with implementing new features and tools,
such as Form Builder.

Priorities sometime shift because of customers' desires ;) But
hopefully we can get to this one soon.
