Hello Team,
I would like some help. We deployed our forms to the November 8th development (nightly) build and a unique behavior emerged with regards to field validation: We are using the <model schema="....xsd"/> to enforce validation on the form. We are also using the xxforms:computed-binds="revalidate" attribute to ensure the binds happen at appropriate times. In Firefox (3.x), tabbing out of a field invokes the field validation correctly. However in IE 7, only pressing an "enter" key in that particular field invokes the validation. Tabbing out does NOT invoke the validation logic. This is different than the 3.7 build from Nov 11th or August 8th ( that we have been using) where IE7 and Firefox 3.0 exhibit the same behavior. Is this a known problem? Is this an unknown bug? Is there something I can do to make sure the behavior is consistent ( tabbing out triggers validation)? We are getting closer to production but we will have to fix this behavior. Help will be greatly appreciated. If you need me to provide more information, I shall gladly do so. -arun |
Hello Alessandro and Erik,
Is this some behavior you have seen? Any directions? We have more information: The problems seem to happen only in repeat sets. In the other fields, tabbing does trigger the valdiation in IE7. It would be great if you could share your insight. If you need more information we can provide you more details . -Arun. btw. Thanks for getting in touch with Jim MN , DOR). ============

Arun,
I don't think we have responded to this. Just wanted to mention that no, there shouldn't be a difference between the two browsers in this respect! Note that there have been lots of fixes since November. We will likely look at this next week if still an issue. -Erik On Apr 13, 2009, at 8:18 AM, Arun Batchu wrote: > > Hello Alessandro and Erik, > > Is this some behavior you have seen?
