Reduce the number of dependent jars

Mei Wu-2
Hello,

We use Orbeon in one of our open source projects, the main issue with it
is its ~ 40MB disk footprint. We use Orbeon to display Xform and use a
custom processor to process the submission,  I think the usage is quite
simple so I guess we need only a small part of the dependent jars, is
there anyway to tell what jars we need for the features we use and
package only those of jars in our app?

Thanks
Mei

The easiest way is to try to remove them 1 by 1 and see if your app
still works :). Sometimes, you can also guess if a certain jar is
needed based on its name. Of course, the next question is: is it worth
the effort? At least personally, I haven't had a case where saving a
few MB of disk space was worth much effort.
