Problem acceding to Orbeon from outside local network

r.pecori
Hi,

I am running Orbeon Forms 4.0.0.rc1.201302120214 PE with development licence.

We have to show our work to a client acceding to our local machine where orbeon is running. the client acceds to our local machine from an outside network.

Bur we receive various exceptions: connection exceptions or a page with "Oooops, resource not found!" even if we try to see the summary of the form builder : http://public_address_of_my machine:8080/orbeon/fr/orbeon/builder/summary.

There is a NAT between our local network and the internet.

Is this a problem due to limitations of the licence? or of our network configuration?

This almost certainly is not an issue that has to do with the license. Are you seeing any error that relates to those resources not being found in the orbeon.log? What is the path to those resources that aren't found?

We tried to acceed from outside our local network.

the address http://my_local_machine_outer_address:8080/orbeon/fr/orbeon/builder/new is reachable and works.

But if we try to acceed to the summary: http://my_local_machine_outer_address:8080/orbeon/fr/orbeon/builder/summary

we receive a 404  NOT FOUND HTTP error witha page saying

"Oops, the page requested was not found!"

Thats'all I have.

Sorry, but there is no intrinsic reason why you would be able to access the new page and not the summary page. Can you consult the orbeon.log and see if the request to the summary page makes it to the Orbeon web app? If not, is there a front-end, say Apache, that would block or route this request somewhere else? Those are just some ideas, which hopefully can help you investigate this on your side.
