Pdf template processor and image

Hello,

I'm using the pdf template processor and I would like to call an image with the pdf model in order to put it in the pdf document generated. It seems that I noticed, that the pdf model is only able to work with <group>, <field> and <repeat> tag. Is there any workaround? Should I combine the use of an xsl-fo and the pdf template processor?
In the same way, I would have liked to call an instance with the pdf model. I'm facing the same problem. Seems to be even more difficult... a solution to the image problem would ever be great!!
