Orbeon with MSSQL, Web Services

I am new to Orbeon. I have Orbeon set up on Windows 2012 running Tomcat and created an application which is now set up to use an MSSQL database. I've been reading up on the documentation, and it is unclear if it is possible to access web services when using an MSSQL database for the backend.

Can someone clarify that and point me to some documentation?

Accessing web services is not related to the type of database you use. So the answer is yes, it is possible, unless I misunderstood the question.
