Orbeon seperate deployment - Seperate Server for orbeon

We are using Orbeon seperate deployment in my application. We exactly followed the points given in below link,

In this case, both the Application and Orbeon need to be in the same server with cross context enabled.

Is there a way to have Application and Orbeon in different servers?

It's not possible do this on different servers right now. In theory one could implement something like this, of course.

We have two ways to run things on different servers.

1. The Form Runner proxy portlet

2. Server-side embedding

    http://doc.orbeon.com/form-runner/link-embed/java-api.html

Both are designed for Form Runner though.

Thanks for your response. Right now we are writing form using hand and not using Form Runner. So, i cannot use these options. Any plans to include this change in Orbeon in near future?

It isn't planned for the short term. And in all likelihood, this feature will be implemented if there is an organization interested in funding its development through a Dev Support plan (http://www.orbeon.com/services). That is, this would most likely be done as a "sponsored feature".
