Orbeon XForms + Tomcat on a VPS

abutnaru
Hi,
I intend to install Orbeon on Tomcat on a Virtual Private Server with
256 MB RAM. Is this enough? Should I pay for a VPS with 512MB? I do not
have experience regarding the resources needed by Orbeon. Can anybody
give me any tip on this subject?

Regards,
Adrian

Adrian,
I would recommend 512Mb, but it depends how large your
application is, how memory intensive it will be and how many users you
predict will be using it. If it is only a small application you may be
able to get away with only 256Mb

Thanks

Ryan

Yeah, 256 MB of Java heap is a strict minimum for Orbeon Forms.
