Hi,
We are looking at using Orbeon (Professional Edition) on a new project. We want to be able to integration Orbeon Form Builder and Form Runner into our Java Webapp. We can see that Orbeon Form Runner can be easily integrated with the web application using the embedding jar. We want users of our webapp to have access to form builder also. But we want our web application to secure access to this, such that a logged in user may access form builder if they are signed in and permitted to access it (so like a 'single sign on' to form builder). We also only want the users to create forms for restricted applications, is this all possible? |

Hi Mark, As you've noticed, for now, the embedding API is just for Form Runner, and doesn't yet support Form Builder. For more on the latter, see the RFE: So, for now, you'll want to have Form Builder users access the Orbeon Forms web app directly. You can define, just like with any web app, who can access it (e.g. users must have the role form-builder-user). And for Form Builder, you can further have requirements on which role is required to edit form in which app: Does this fit your access control requirements?
