Re: Orbeon 3.8 Release Candidate now available

Rohit Rai
Hi Eric,

What I understand from the from the FAQ at http://www.orbeon.com/forms/ce-pe-faq which says "The PE branch doesn't contain any code not included in the public branch", I understand that all the features mentioned under PE like Versioned resources, i18n, Alfresco integration, Join submissions, services and actions, etc. will be available in the public branch. Am I correct in assuming that?

If that is correct, are you doing some build changes for CE not to include these features?

From what I understand is the Public Git is superset of CE and untested, unstable or experimental features. Am I correct in that assumption? And if that is correct, I should be able to take my own build from the public repository to use these features. Is that right?

Sorry for so many questions, but I want to be sure that I am selecting the right solution as I am currently analyzing them.

Regards,
Rohit

That's right, in fact all the code is already there.
