Offline forms acces

I've just been discussing a potential product we might want to build that
uses our existing expertise in using xforms but it has one big problem. It
needs to work offline and upload new and updated forms on reconnection.

I see you have two tickets for this,  #1221 and #1545.

Is this something we are likely to see in the next 6-12 months?

If not we may have to find some other technology for this or just do HTML
forms which is not the way I want to go.

Hi Brian,

I would say that it is unlikely. Better support for mobile, including
offline support, is still first on the  Development tracks section of the
roadmap <https://doc.orbeon.com/roadmap#development-tracks>  , but for
2018.2 we'll most likely focus on workflow, and more Form Builder usability
improvement.
